Getting Ready for Mother's Day x

The children have been thinking about what makes their Nana's and mums so special. 

They used their fingers to paint flowers to 

show their love from their hearts! 

WE WON THE ZONE SOFTBALL

The Hay Park School Softball team won the Mt Roskill softball Tournament. They played 8 games and won all 8. The students showed great team work together and hit some great home runs. Well done guys 

Mt Roskill Zone Football Tournament

The students really enjoyed taking part in the football tournament and getting to improve their skills with the ball!

A BIG WELL DONE to both the girls team and boys team, there were some very tired legs 😃

Anzac Service at Hay Park School

On Friday the 24th April the students led the service of remembrance to remember those who gave their life to serve their country.  They were able to deliver a very respectful service. 

Fun Times with Hockey

Every Tuesday before school Year 4,5 and 6 students practice hockey skills with Barry Brain at Waikowhai Intermediate School.

We would like to say a big THANK you to Barry as he offers his time for FREE. We appreciate all the hard work he does for the students at Hay Park School. Watch this space to see how the students compete in the Mt Roskill Cluster Tournament in Term 3.

Bringing the Community Together

On Wednesday the 4th March we had a COMMUNITY FUN DAY where all the families at Hay Park School came to join in with activities and learn about all the local services in our area.

There was a free bouncy castle, YMCA games and BBQ.
 

             


             


             

Opening of the New AKA Hay Park Playgroup

On Wednesday 4th March 2015 we Hay Park School held the GRAND opening of the new AKA playgroup. We are all very excited about working with and playing with all the young children under five and sharing in the fun with their families.

The playgroup will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am-12:00. If you are interested in joining the playgroup, please pop into school to ask.
