Love Your Coast

A huge thanks to all the adults who accompanied us on our Love Your Coast beach clean up. We had a great day exploring the Onehunga waterfront - cleaning up the lagoon and swimming at the new beach. Thanks also to Sustainable Coastlines for organising the day and sharing their knowledge.

On Friday, we had our annual thank-you morning tea to show our appreciation for all of the people that help our school.

A HUGE THANK YOU

Early this week one of our families had a difficult time when their house burnt down and left them with nothing. The community and school have come together to support the family by donating items for another house and also raising $497. Thank you everyone from the family and the school.

Year 6 WINNING Team

Six Lucky Year 6's got the chance to compete with other local schools at Waikowhai Intermediate school Community day. They took part in a range of sporting activities and problem solving where they had to work together as a team. They won $100 voucher for the Warehouse. I wonder what they will spend the money on.

WELL DONNNNEE Blue Hawks

The Blue Hawks came first out of their Saturday netball group tournament at Mt Roskill school. We are so delighted over their success.

Community Blue Hawks Celebration

The parents and families that supported the Saturday Netball 'The Blue Hawks" came together to celebrate the success of the children but also to say thank you  for everyone's hard work. We shall look forward to next year. 

150 PB4L Green Ticket WINNERS

On Friday 28th August 2 students who had achieved over 150 green PB4L tickets selected to have lunch with Mrs Galloway the Acting Principal. 

I am not sure who had more fun, Mrs Galloway or the students!
